Thompson Sacramento State College 1963 Perhaps the most challenging and disturbing analysis of modern society lies in the view that recent develoments in Western democracies reflect a total cultural crisis. In this view, the basic assumptions and values which have sustained democratic societies in the past are no longer operative. The basic belief in a moral order, discoverable through reason or religion (from which such values as human dignity, progress, reform, or individualism might be derived and defended), has been irretrievably shaken by the specters of the concentration camp and nuclear terror. So also has the possibility of believing that the cumulative growth of science and technology is inherently beneficent. An age which promised unlimited and almost inevitable progress ushered in the possibilities of almost unlimited inhumanity and brutality. At the same time that science was alienating man from nature, secularism was making him a stranger to God, and the forces of industrialism and urbanism were depriving him of a sense of identity and making him a stranger to himself. The result, these critics argue, has been the elimination of all possibility of reliable guides to human conduct and all traditional restraints on human selfishness and inhumanity. Individual, social and political life are without a rudder and a norm. One of the spokesmen for this "small but growing critical minority" has drawn up a bill of particulars under the following five headings. *** First, we are convinced as a nation "that a multitude of material goods, standarized, furiously and expensively advertised by appeals to greed and vanity, will in themselves make life worth the living." Second, our culture seems to be based on the conviction "that animal appetites are mighty and to be sacrificed unto if we would enjoy a satisfactory existance; and the chief of all the appetites is sex." "Our culture, in the third place, seems based upon a conviction that to be comfortable is utterly indispensable if man is to fulfill his destiny. It occurs only to exceptional people that the whole cult of comfort is petty, ignoble, unworthy of human nature, absurd." The fourth root of our cultural malaise is "a ridiculous notion that whether a man be good or bad, wise or foolish, matters less than that he should conform to pattern. The pattern to which we are expected to conform is that set by the overgrown and depersonalized megalopolis." Finally, "our crowd-mindedness renders us suggestible, manipulatable, easy meat for almost any propaganist who is willing to flatter, to encourage animality, to promise ease and opulence with a minimum of labor expended to get them, and freedom from responsibility." Applied directly to politics, this diagnosis leads to the conclusion that democracy operated effectively only in an intellectual climate characterized by a consensus on certain fundamental truths. Specifically, democratic political institutions were built on the belief in "natural law" and "natural rights." The growth of secularism, relativism, and skepticism has undermined the capacity to believe in any sort of "higher law" which stands above men's customs and desires. As a consequence, the symbols of democracy have tended to become empty words which no longer serve as criteria for justifying and judging its political institutions. There no longer exists that common belief in the ultimate "truths" of a "public philosophy" which serves to both unite the citizens of a body politic and to guide and restrain the men's passions in the struggle for political power. One variation of this diagnosis holds that the democratic ideal of equality is the root of the problem. Under its sway the masses have come to political power. Culturally, "the revolt of the masses" is a revolt against competence and excellence, an acid test which dissolves all traditional and civilized standards of human conduct. Where the tastes and judgements of the masses become the arbiters of public life the result is the standardization of taste and judgement at the lowest common denominator and conformity to the average of attitudes and opinions. Politically, the ascendancy of the masses means a glorification of the capabilities of the average man which, if allowed to continue, will result in the paralysis of political life. It distorts the role that the masses of "the people" are qualified to play, assigning them tasks of initiating and judging policies which are beyond their experience,wisdom, or interest. Competent government requires governors who can "assert a public interest against private inclination and against what is easy and popular. If they are to do their duty, they must often swim against the tides of private feeling." Mass opinion has come to dominate democraticgovernment, and the result is "a morbid derangement of the ture functions of power." Politicians must truckle to the current crop of popular prejudices, and the vital role of leadership on which any political system depends cannot be performed. A different group of critics holds that our difficulties lie not in the traditional democratic dogmas but in their corruption... ...The argument here is that "the failures of democracy are due not to the sovereignty accorded to the electorate, but to the frustration of that sovereignty by power groups and elites greedy to retain their privileged status." The weak politician, seeking only to get or hold office, does not really truckle to a mass electorate, so much as he yields to "a press campaign, to a lobby, to a party caucus, to a financial backer, or even to experts." In this analysis, the problem is not the natural perversity of the average man but the absence of an organisation of political power which would make possible effective leadership and a responsible electorate. The dominance of interest groups and of the techniques of psycological manipulation robs the citizen of his role as governor and makes a mockery of the ideal of government by the consent of the governed. That ideal has meaning only where consent is freely and independently given by citizens. Under modern conditions of advertising and manipulation, it has become possible to talk of the "engineering of consent" by an elite of experts and professional politicians. Consent which is thus "engineered" is difficult to distinguish in any fundamental way from the "consent" which supports nondemocratic governments. Flat Earth News: An Award-winning Reporter Exposes Falsehood, Distortion and Propaganda in the Global Media Author and journalist Nick Davies has written one of the best exposés of the media. The book started when he saw that the government's lies about Iraqi WMD became widely accepted as true because too many in his profession spread them uncritically. As he writes, journalism without checking is like a body without an immune system. Commercial forces are the main obstacle to truth-telling journalism. The owners cut costs by cutting staff and local news suppliers, by running cheap stories, choosing safe facts and ideas, avoiding upsetting the powerful, giving both sides of the story (unless it's the official story), giving the readers what they want to believe, and going with moral panics. He cites a Cardiff University study of four quality papers which found that 60% of their home news stories were wholly from wire agencies, mainly the Press Association, or PR material, 20% partially so, 8% from unknown sources, and just 12% generated by reporters. The Press Association reports only what is said, it has no time to check whether it is true. There are now more PR people, 47,800, than journalists, 45,000. News websites run by media firms recycle 50% of their stories from the two international wire agencies, Associated Press and Reuters; those run by internet firms recycle 85% of their stories from those two. On a typical day, Google News offered `14,000' stories - actually retelling just 24 events. The government has 1,500 press officers, issues 20,000 press releases a year, and also spends millions more of our money on PR firms. The Foreign Office spends £600 million a year on `public diplomacy'. The CIA spent $265 million on `information operations' in 1978 alone, more than the world's three biggest news agencies together. It focuses its efforts on the New York Times, CBS, Newsweek and Time. Davies notes the non-stories - bin Laden before 9/11, 80% of world's people living below the poverty line, poverty and inequality surging since the 1980s, wars in the Ivory Coast, Liberia, Congo and Nepal, the global water shortage, and the vast expansion of tax havens (a third of the world's GDP goes through them). He notes how the scare about heroin, which is not a poison, led to the rise of the black market and the consequent `war' on drugs, which now costs the USA $49 billion a year. In Britain, every pound the state spends on prohibition stimulates £4 worth of crime. Again, the nuclear power scare is based on lies: Chernobyl killed just 56 people (World Health Organisation figure), not the six million that Greenpeace's Russian representative claimed. As he mentions in the chapter `The Private Life of Public Relation', PR firms inject falsehood into the British media so surreptitiously which the weekly columnists are completely oblivious to. For instance, he cites the case of the Daily Mail columnist Melanie Phillips who wrote "a series of outspoken columns denouncing the whole concept of man-made climate change". Davis goes on to mention one of her articles in the Mail in February 2002 which said `The latest evidence is provided in a report published today by the European Science and Environmental Forum, in which a group of the most eminent scientists from Britain and America shed the theory'. Fair play to Phillips for doing her research, but was it researched enough? Davis gives us the pleasure of looking deeper into the roots of the story and writes "the forum whose work she {Phillips} was quoting was, in truth, yet another pseudo-group, created with the help of two PR agencies (APCO Worldwide and Burson-Marsteller) with the specific intent of campaigning against restrictions on corporate activity". He also mentions how the report "Phillips referred in such glowing terms was recycled work which had been funded by Exxon". Finally, Davies shows how Rupert Murdoch and Andrew Neil destroyed the Sunday Times and its Insight team, how the Observer suppressed stories that disproved the government's claims about WMD and how Paul Dacre rules the Daily Mail through fear. Nick Davies must be a brave man... He has launched a devastating attack on not only the state of modern journalism, but also on the basic integrity of many of those involved in the profession. And this from a major paper journalist who must now have made a lot of enemies within his industry. I'm sure you have noticed how very similar versions of the same stories are posted online by apparently independent and well funded news organisations - especially in America for news outside the US. This book explains why, and how the facts of these clone stories are often unchecked by the trusted organisations putting them into the public domain. The book also covers the pernicious effects and influence of PR and also, perhaps most depressingly, the outright lying of major newspapers who are left barely challenged by the Press Complaints Commission and whom average people cannot afford to defend themselves against. All of it seems to root back to money. Selling more papers through sensationalism, pandering to racism and lying; cost cutting exercises that have reduced the number of journalists available to cover an ever increasing number of stories, leaving them without the time to check their sources properly. Very depressing, but a fantastic inoculation against the effects of this 'disease'. The book will help you take a more critical view of what you read, see and hear and understand the motivations that lie behind much of the news we are fed. The final summary provides some ideas about where good journalism can still be found - basically it exists where advertising does not - or where reporting is guided (or protected) by highly ethical 'old school' editorial policies. In his book, "Under the Sign of the Scorpion" (2002), the Estonian writer says about 150 million people died as a result of the Bolshevik Revolution, subsidized by the Illuminati (Masonic Jewish) banking cartel.The West pretended to oppose the Bolsheviks but in fact defended them and betrayed the White Russians who were our allies in WWI. The Bolsheviks would have lost except for Western intervention. (322) An additional 60 million people were murdered under Chinese Communism. These Satanic regimes "gripped the... people by the hair of their heads" (Winston Churchill) and brutally destroyed two advanced civilizations. The Illuminati central bankers still run the world. If "Past is Preface," are we being set up for similar brutal treatment? Is this the reason why the truth about these "revolutions" is suppressed? Why we are being dumbed, degraded and trivialized? INSIDE STORY Juri Lina claims that the USSR was ruled by Jewish gangsters. Soviet "anti-Semitism" was the spin they put on their gang wars. Marxist ideology was a smokescreen. Josef Stalin was a Jew who spoke Yiddish and married Jewish women. He was diagnosed as a "paranoid hysteric" by a doctor he murdered for revealing this. He had an inferiority complex due to being only five foot one inch tall and employed a stand-in for public appearances. He murdered his second wife in 1932 when she accused him of genocide. Like Lenin, another Jew (who died of syphilis) Stalin was also bisexual. (pp. 284-286). These are the freaks the Illumati bankers put in power. Stalin was under the influence of another Jew, Lazar Kaganovich (and married his sister.) Kaganowich played on Stalin's paranoia to murder over 20 million Comunist party leaders, functionaries, and army officers, especially those aware of his nefarious deeds. Stalin and Kaganovich were after their rivals' gold. During the Great Terror of 1934-38, NKVD Officers began wearing a new symbol on their sleeves, a sword and serpent. "This symbolized the struggle of the cabbalistic Jews against their enemies," Lina writes. "There is no devil according to the Talmud. Satan and God are united in Yahweh." (301) At the peak of Stalin and Kaganovich's terror in 1937-38, executions reached 40,000 a month. Alexander Solzhenitsyn estimated a million executed and another two million died in death camps. Literaturnaya Rossiya estimated total deaths due to murdder, induced starvation and maltreatment at 147 million, five million a year for the period 1918-1938. Lina points out that many killed were women and children who were classed as "enemies of the people." After all "they cost money" i.e. were "useless eaters" in Communist eyes. Huge mass graves surround the major cities of the USSR. One containing 100,000 bodies was found in Kuropaty, six miles from Minsk. Every night from 1937 to June 1941, the NKVD lined people up at the grave side, gagged abd blind-folded. To save bullets, the executioners tried to kill two people with one shot. (303) At the peak of the terror, the NKVD began gassing people to death in lorries. The West considered all this to be normal. Bernard Shaw said nations had the right to eliminate undesirables. The US ambassador to Moscow, Joseph Davies, a Freemason, was especially enthusiatic about the show trials. (304) The USSR lost an additional 35-45 million people during the Second World War. The historian Nikolai Tolstoi claims that half of these were actually killed by the Bolsheviks and blamed on the Nazis. During campaigns against counter revolutionaires in 1949-1952 another five million people were murdered. (307) Apart from the Holomodor (1932-32) which killed 15 million Ukrainians, there was another (lesser known) organized famine in the Ukraine in 1946-1947 to put down political resistance. This killed two million. Another million Russians were killed or irradiated in 1954 when the Communists tested an atomic weapon on their own people. (318) SATANIC GENOCIDE SPONSORED BY THE WEST The Bolshevik Revolution was totally organized and financed by Illuminati bankers (Schiff, Rockefeller, Warburg etc.) and the German government, which they controlled. (206) Anthony Sutton found that 95% per cent of Soviet technology came from the US or their allies. He said the Communists couldn't have lasted "one day" without Western aid. While pretending to be engaged in a "Cold War," the West actually provided billions in direct military and economic aid to the Soviets. How else have a war? (322) A quarter million tractors were needed for the "collectivization" of the Kulak farmers land. With financing from Kuhn Loeb, 80 US companies participated in building three huge tractor factories. These were also used for building tanks. Under the Rapallo Treaty signed in April 1922, German consortiums built numerous airplane, locomotive and munitions factories throughout the USSR. Krupp built tanks and submarines in Leningrad and Rostov. German troops rehearsed Blitzkreig tactics on Russian soil. Clearly the Illuminati elite sponsors both sides of every conflict. Without this industrial activity and economic aid, the USSR would have quickly failed. The West's Illuminati politicians and financiers didn't lose any sleep over the executions or the 15 million sent to the Gulag. (343) Their newspapers suppressed this information. They are as guilty as the NKVD executioners, and it was all done on our dime. "The Western financial elite wanted to use market economy capitalism as an anvil and Communism as a hammer to rule the world and entirely subdue it," Lina writes. Eventually the cost of maintaining the USSR became too heavy, and the new Russia was born, under the Freemasons Yeltzin and Putin. The same gang of Satanists and mass murderers continue to rule our planet. Our politicians are their conscious or unconscious agents. This doesn't bode well for the New World Order. Peterson, Ph.D. Speech Given September 9, 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah How often have you heard people refer to America as a Democracy? When was the last time that you heard America referred to as a Republic? There is a very good reason that our Pledge of Allegiance refers to our country as a Republic and there is a very good reason that our Declaration of Independence and our constitution do not even mentioned the word "democracy". Many people are under the false impression our form of government is a democracy, or representative democracy. This is of course completely untrue. The Founders were extremely knowledgeable about the issue of democracy and feared a democracy as much as a monarchy. They understood that the only entity that can take away the people's freedom is their own government, either by being too weak to protect them from external threats or by becoming too powerful and taking over every aspect of life. They knew very well the meaning of the word "democracy", and the history of democracies; and they were deliberately doing everything in their power to prevent having a democracy. In a Republic, the sovereignty resides with the people themselves. In a Republic, one may act on his own or through his representatives when he chooses to solve a problem. The people have no obligation to the government; instead, the government is a servant of the people, and obliged to its owner, We the People. Many politicians have lost sight of that fact. A Constitutional Republic has some similarities to democracy in that it uses democratic processes to elect representatives and pass new laws, etc. The critical difference lies in the fact that a Constitutional Republic has a Constitution that limits the powers of the government. It also spells out how the government is structured, creating checks on its power and balancing power between the different branches. The goal of a Constitutional Republic was to avoid the dangerous extreme of either tyranny or mobocracy but what exists in America today is a far cry from the Constitutional Republic our forefathers brought forth. Today we have DO have a mobocracy occurring in our streets all across America. Sadly, such mobocracy or 'mob rule' was endorsed and encouraged by Sen. John McCain who praised the recent wave of pro-illegal immigration demonstrations by saying . . . "if the protesters hang tough they will succeed in forcing Congress to liberalize immigration laws. If such demonstrations continue, I think we will have a bill for the President to sign soon . . . The more debate, the more demonstrations, the more likely we will prevail.' He was of course referring to the Senate's massive illegal-alien amnesty bill S. 2611 which did in fact, pass. Was S. 2611 passed to appease the mob? If so, it is a perfect example of rule by mobocracy! Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution states: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion . . . Not only is our Constitution being ignored, the exact OPPOSITE is being encourage by John McCain and seconded by ALL those who voted for S. 2611 in the Senate. If you want to preserve the Constitutional Republic you should vote out of office . . . every single senator that voted for S. 2611. My favorite quote is by Tom Tancredo who speaks to the treasonous position of those who would promote anarchy and mobocracy in our streets. He said: "When I took the oath of office, it wasn't to my party or the President. It was to the Constitution." However, rule by mobocracy is only a tiny part of what is happening here in America. The larger problem we are facing is related to those who would support and approve of mob rule. It is called tyranny. What is tyranny? Simply put, we are being governed by tyrants who have usurped the will of the people. Our government has become a raging bull elephant, no pun intended, and is totally out of control. We are well on the road to fascism, which was defined by Mussolini as the combining of capitalism and Communism. There is underway . . . a betrayal of the American people by a government cabal who are bent on destroying our sovereignty in order to create a North American Union. The miscreants include many who function at the highest levels in our government. Many hold membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and the Trilateral Commission and pursue a subversive agenda. The cabal is deliberately circumventing the U.S. Congress and 'We the People' in blatant violation of our Constitution. Collectively they are committing TREASON. If you continue to believe that the illegal alien invasion is the biggest threat to America, you will never understand that there is something far more dangerous to our country called the "Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America" (SPP). As bad as the illegal alien situation is . . . you will learn that this nation is in dire peril far exceeding the illegal alien problem. I urge you to educate yourself. If you have access to a computer you need to read what your own government has posted on their official websites such as the Whitehouse.gov, SPP.gov, State.gov and Canada.USembassy.gov. You will be aghast at the nearly complete destruction of our sovereignty, Bill of Rights, Constitution, laws, Republic, and freedoms they have ALREADY achieved. This heinous ongoing treason has been engineered by an entrenched cabal of legislators, courts, military brass, and government employees in this and prior administrations. The tyranny is being facilitated by hundreds of people embedded at all levels of the executive branch and Congress constituting a so called 'Shadow Government' who are working in concert to dismantle this country in plain sight. Their agenda was engineered by the Council on Foreign Relations(CFR) and kept secret by a deliberately silent media who work in collaboration by treating the America people like mushrooms. We are kept in the dark and fed you know what . . . mislead by their propaganda. If you don't have a computer, get one. It is the last bastion of freedom to information and knowledge left to' We the People'. Be advised that the congress is working hard to eliminate, curtail and control your access to the internet as we speak. Why is it Most Americans are Unaware of the CFR Organization . . . David Rockefeller chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) for 15 years (1970-1985), also founded and is the honorary chairman of the Trilateral Commission. His father John D. and brother Nelson purchased and then donated the land beneath the UN for $8.5 million dollars, then claimed it as a charitable deduction. As for how the machinations of the CFR have remained unnoticed . . . in 1991 in Baden-Baden, Germany, David Rockefeller gloatingly said: "We're grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government.." . . . Are you? CFR member Richard N. Gardner, who in a 1974 article titled: "The Hard Road to World Order" wrote: In short, the "house of world order" will have to be built from the bottom up rather than the top down [and require] . . . an end run around national sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece. And what does David Rockefeller say about his work? "For more than a century, ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interest of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists ' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure - one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it." What colossal arrogance! Like other globalists, he loses sight of man's humanity and the very fundamental nature of what it is to BE human. Mankind will ALWAYS resist subjugation and will ALWAYS struggle to have and maintain their freedoms . . . after all . . . for us Americans . . . it is the very essence of what it is to BE an American. The Council on Foreign Relations has placed its membership in policy-making positions with the State Department and other federal agencies. Every Secretary of State since 1944, with the exception of James F. Byrnes, has been a member of the [CFR] council." The trend continues today as both Condalezza Rice and Colin Powell are members of the CFR. Some Others Who have Spoken Out About the 'Shadow Government': "Rear Admiral Chester Ward, USN (Retd.), who was a member of the CFR for sixteen years. He wrote, 'The most powerful clique in these elitist groups have one objective in common--They want to bring about the surrender of the sovereignty and the national independence of the United States." "Felix Frankfurter, Justice of the Supreme Court (1939-1962) said: The real rulers in Washington are invisible and exercise power from behind the scenes." In a speech given on February 23, 1954, Senator William Jenner warned America: "Outwardly we have a Constitutional government. We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government, a bureaucratic elite which believes our Constitution is outmoded." In fact, the Constitution is far more than 'outmoded,' according to President Bush who rebuffed GOP leader's request to soft pedal some parts of the 'Patriot Act' by saying: "I don't give a goddamn . . . I'm the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way." Then, responding to an aid who stated: "There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution." Bush screamed back: "Stop throwing the constitution in my face . . . It's just a goddamned piece of paper!" As for the 'bureaucratic elite' of wealthy globalists who function as the 'Shadow Government' . . . their ultimate goal is a so called NEW World Order, which is course is NOT NEW but is, in reality, a ONE World Order. To that end, Franklin Delano Roosevelt managed to condemn their monopolist lust from the grave in a message found enshrined on his memorial in Washington, DC: THEY (WHO) SEEK TO ESTABLISH SYSTEMS OF GOVERNMENT BASED ON THE REGIMENTATION OF ALL HUMAN BEINGS BY A HANDFUL OF INDIVIDUAL RULERS CALL THIS A NEW ORDER IT IS NOT NEW AND IT IS NOT ORDER If you think about it, by sending our manufacturing base to Mexico or other foreign countries, the globalists have FORCED America to become global when in the past we were self-sufficient and produced all we needed for ourselves and exported our excess around the world. Now we are dependent on countries like Communist China, etc., to supply stores like Wal-mart with nearly all of its merchandise. The 'Shadow Government has begun their 'race to the finish' and have become ever more arrogant and bold. They have concluded that they are so close to complete conquest that they are ever more blatantly flouting our Constitution and laws than you can ever imagine in your wildest of dreams of hell on earth. Didn't you ever wonder why our borders are still wide open? Didn't you ever wonder why our immigration laws are unenforced? Didn't you ever wonder why CAFTA was passed in the House by two recanted votes after the time for voting had expired? Especially in light of the fact that most ordinary people would agree that NAFTA has been such a devastating failure for both Mexico and America. The aide, Fredo Arias-king, attests that: "With just over 50 of them, my colleagues and I spoke about immigration in some depth, as it is one of the important bilateral topics [for Mexico]." They found that: "American politicians are overwhelmingly pro-immigration, for a variety of reasons, and they do not always admit this to their constituents. Of those 50 legislators, 45 were unambiguously pro-immigration, even asking us at times to 'send more.' This was true of both Democrats and Republicans."(51) His conclusions: " . . . mass immigration from Latin America is being used by the political class to undermine their democracy and as a tool to liberate the political elites from the Jeffersonian and Madisonian constraints. The illegal alien problem is simply the MECHANISM for leveraging what is yet to come. Although there are those who would deny there is ANY connection between the CFR and the creation of the Security and Prosperity Partnership as a vehicle for creating the North American Union, they are simply in severe denial, dupes or part of the cabal that is working to cover up the truth. Chapter 3 continues the story began in 2:4. Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? The presence of the snake here is interesting. The early Sumerian story of Gilgamesh, mentioned in the commentary on Genesis 1, also featured a snake who played a pivotal role in human history. In that story, Gilgamesh, the hero-king of Uruk (biblical Erech), seeks to find immortality. He is told that if he can take a certain plant from the bottom of the world, he will live forever. He takes the plant, and travels back to his city with it, thinking to test it on an old man first. Along the way, he stops for a bath in the river, and a snake smells the plant and carries it away. The snake immediately sheds its skin. Gilgamesh resigns himself to mortality. Here, the snake also functions as an animal that will take away the chance of immortality from humans, albeit indirectly, and perhaps even unintentionally. The snake appears to be a sort of “trickster” so popular in folk stories around the world. He deliberately misquotes God, prompting Eve to then get the quotation wrong herself. Eve’s misquoting of God (”neither shall you touch it”), together with her taking of the fruit, have historically been used in Christian communities to deny leadership positions to women, something I always tell my students. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. The serpent’s motives in saying this are not clear in this story, and later Christian interpretations of the snake as Satan will be unhelpful to us if we want to look at this story on its own merits. Nevertheless, the serpent is right. First, the humans do not die, something God had said, and in the second, their eyes are opened (see verse 7, which uses the same expression), something the serpent said. If we compare the serpent to a character like Prometheus, it becomes possible to view the snake very sympathetically, seeing him as a “culture bringer” who wanted to help humanity. What follows is one of the saddest stories ever, interpreted according to the Christian tradition. That interpretation is not mandatory, however. Yahweh God asks Adam where he is, and Adam says he’s shy because he’s not wearing anything. Yahweh God knows immediately what his humans have been up to, and interrogates Adam. Adam passes the buck to Eve, and Eve passes the buck to the serpent. We are then given three aetiologies all at once. “Mommy, why do snakes travel on their bellies?” “Well, that’s because a long time ago…” “Daddy, why did mommy scream when she had my little sister?” “Well, my little son, that’s because, a long time ago, God cursed women.” “Daddy, why are you so sweaty today?” Again, we can compare the serpent to Prometheus, who suffered punishment from Zeus because he gave fire to the human race. Zeus can be compared to Yahweh God in the same way. Both Zeus and Yahweh God are unhappy about giving humanity divine privileges. Yahweh God actually seems a bit scared when he says “and now, lest they reach out and take hold of the fruit of the tree of life–.” The sentence is unfinished, but Yahweh God clearly wants to avoid granting the humans the same powers that he has, now that they have knowledge and are as gods. He exiles them from the garden, placing two cherubim to guard the entrance. In that connection, I should note that Yahweh God did not entrust two naked chubby-cheeked pink little babies to guard the entrance to Eden: No, what we should think of are these: What real ancient Near Eastern people thought of when they heard the word cherubim (In passing, I note that, were the first picture the authentic representation of cherubim, the poor little fellows would quickly have been squashed whenever Yahweh wanted to go traveling: cf. Ps. 18:10, where Yahweh rides and flies on a cherub.) Genesis 3, then, remains a delightful tale with several aetiologies, and the entire tragic interpretation provided the passage by the Christian point of view does great violence to it. It is possible to view the passage from a point of view that is sympathetic to both the woman and the snake, as bringers of culture, but as the text has functioned within Christian communities this has not been the case. On the other hand, the view of the environment and humanity’s role within it is a significant improvement on what we saw back in Genesis 1. A statute, act, regulation or guideline is a rule of a corporation, nothing more & as such, require your consent for them to apply to you. Only then does the corporate staute or act become lawful. Contrary to popular belief, we do not have a government here in England as we believe a government is supposed to be. What we have is a series of interlinked corporations controlled by elite bankers, pretending to be a government of the people, by the people & for the people. This is a huge lie. A massive deception. Adolf Hitler said 'The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it.' This is how it really works: The House of Commons, a private corporation, creates statutes & acts, governments then create a 'Bond', which puts a commercial value on said statute & the bond then sold to the highest bidder on the stock market. The Ministry of Justice, another private corporation, acts on behalf of the company who purchased the bond, then uses the 'services' of councils & the police to 'enforce' these statutes upon us for the commercial benefit of private corporations! The courts, also private corporations, are there to make sure the private corporations get their decietfully earned money that has been made by people breaking that statute or act obligation. This is how the 'system' really works! The police are 'used' as the 'force of law,' and will cause extreem violence against you if ordered to do so by their superiers, regardless of right or wrong and then hide behind a baracade of lies to try to cover up what they have done. Itallion dictator Moussilini said 'Fascism' is the merger of the government & corporation 'against' the people.' We all know the outcome of a dictatorship, they 'ALWAYS' committ mass murder & extreme violence against the people, often using fake statute/act/bylaws/regulations & any other type of legislation they can think of to get us to 'submit' for our own good and it is always the elite families who 'benefit.' On the other hand, the chances are pretty good that you'll slave away at some miserable job the rest of your life. That's because you were in all likelihood born into the wrong social class. Let's face it — you're a member of the working caste. Sorry! As a result, you don't have the education, upbringing, connections, manners, appearance, and good taste to ever become one of us. In fact, you'd probably need a book the size of the yellow pages to list all the unfair advantages we have over you. That's why we're so relieved to know that you still continue to believe all those silly fairy tales about "justice" and "equal opportunity" in America. Of course, in a hierarchical social system like ours, there's never been much room at the top to begin with. Besides, it's already occupied by us — and we like it up here so much that we intend to keep it that way. But at least there's usually someone lower in the social hierarchy you can feel superior to and kick in the teeth once in a while. Even a lowly dishwasher can easily find some poor slob further down in the pecking order to sneer and spit at. So be thankful for migrant workers, prostitutes, and homeless street people. Always remember that if everyone like you were economically secure and socially privileged like us, there would be no one left to fill all those boring, dangerous, low-paid jobs in our economy. And no one to fight our wars for us, or blindly follow orders in our totalitarian corporate institutions. And certainly no one to meekly go to their grave without having lived a full and creative life. So please, keep up the good work! You also probably don't have the same greedy, compulsive drive to possess wealth, power, and prestige that we have. And even though you may sincerely want to change the way you live, you're also afraid of the very change you desire, thus keeping you and others like you in a nervous state of limbo. So you go through life mechanically playing your assigned social role, terrified what others would think should you ever dare to "break out of the mold." Naturally, we try to play you off against each other whenever it suits our purposes: high-waged workers against low-waged, unionized against non-unionized, Black against White, male against female, American workers against Japanese against Mexican against.... We continually push your wages down by invoking "foreign competition," "the law of supply and demand," "national security," or "the bloated federal deficit." We throw you on the unemployed scrap heap if you step out of line or jeopardize our profits. And to give you an occasional break from the monotony of our daily economic blackmail, we allow you to participate in our stage-managed electoral shell games, better known to you ordinary folks as "elections." Happily, you haven't a clue as to what's really happening — instead, you blame "Aliens," "Tree-hugging Environmentalists," "Niggers," "Jews," Welfare Queens," and countless others for your troubled situation. We're also very pleased that many of you still embrace the "work ethic," even though most jobs in our economy degrade the environment, undermine your physical and emotional health, and basically suck your one and only life right out of you. We obviously don't know much about work, but we're sure glad you do! Of course, life could be different. Society could be intelligently organized to meet the real needs of the general population. You and others like you could collectively fight to free yourselves from our domination. But you don't know that. In fact, you can't even imagine that another way of life is possible. And that's probably the greatest, most significant achievement of our system — robbing you of your imagination, your creativity, your ability to think and act for yourself. So we'd truly like to thank you from the bottom of our heartless hearts. Your loyal sacrifice makes possible our corrupt luxury; your work makes our system work. 11:23 pm	Explainations Morality - religion is a tool to control the masses. check out this symbol, used by the Church of Christian Science, and The Lutheran Church, amongst others: There has been a clear and determined effort to wipe out all native spiritualities - any that exist outside the reach of the Cross and the Crown. Non-institutional religions have been blasphemed and persecuted by the earthly powers. They tolerate no strange Gods before THEM, as they want TOTAL control over people, both materially and spiritually. Irish native spirituality was crushed - by a process of defamation. We used to worship goats, as the egyptians did/do worship Amon, the goat-god. This was one popular religion of the ancients. Apparently, our word for god is derived from Goat ---> Gott! I don't know how true that is, but I know this: Look at Michelangelo, the great renaissance genius painter's art. This is his 'Moses', complete with horns. Why? Is that not the sign of being a Devil? Here's the garden of eden. God/Jehovah in the old Testament IS a psychopath. He ruthlessly helps the Jews to commit massive genocide in Palestine. He is a great demon, not the true God. He is jealous and wrathful, these are not God-attributes. So in Michelangelo's painting of The Garden Of Eden: Notice how noble Eve's face is, the noble quest for knowledge. Notice how concerned and sympathetic the Serpent looks. She is like Prometheus, helping the humans. Giving them knowledge. What is sinful or wrong about seeking knowledge? This painting subtly describes a totally different interpretation of the garden of Eden. I believe the story is propaganda by the rulers, to make their slaves fear knowledge, to tell them not to trust feminine intuition, and to train their minds to be willing, obedient slaves. Of course, he is subtle, about this, he can't offend the church, so they look sad after being kicked out of the garden, of course. But he paints Eden as a rocky place...not much better than the world outside. Also, he puts the avenging angel with the sword, who is kicking them out, right next to the serpent. They look very similar...angels and demons...don't get them confused! might be his message. I repeat, there has been a conspiracy to cover up the way to enlightement, the way that everybody knew was already inside them. The ancient ways were demonized, and the search for knowledge was said to be a wrong thing. Only a few enlightened men like Michelangelo could see throught this fraud. I know some of the history of my country, and the same stuff happened. Great Saint Patrick saved Ireland from worse harm by intergrating the ancient beliefs with the Roman State Religion, and that's why the church rulers actually tried to stop him from going back to Ireland. Through his intergration many of the old beliefs remained. It was the church that gave permission to invade Ireland to the English King, conquering Edward. Later the English monarch Elizabeth would order the massacre of almost every poet in the land - cultural genocide. It was the church that demonized and repressed all our old beliefs, traditions, and our artists. And of course, 800 years' disaster under the Crown. Genocide, slavery, Imperialism, subjugation. Cromwell. Northern Ireland. This all helped to create a very much weakened irish race, a race of slaves, obediant and fearful of their dreadful masters. This is why I keep fighting with my parents!!!!! I don't wanna be a slave!!! I reclaim my birth-right to MY IRELAND! Moi je travaille dans une auberge de jeunnesse, afin to d'etre expose au monde libre de l'internet - je suis sur l'internet pendant tout la nuit...c'est une bonne travaille. Beaucoup des choses change dans la monde: Les etudiants mainifestent partout en Europe, Le Nouveau Ordre Mondial mes ses plans en actions: Ils poussent les Identification Electronique sur nous, c'est tout a fait les gereants des systemes financiers qui constitue le point des problemes dans la monde. L'humanitie a trop trop trop concentre le pouvoir. Allors, le probleme dans les prochaines annee serait un manque des resources, comme la nouriture! C'est pour ca que je suis arive pour apprendre un peut sur Leyssart. L'occident a mal gere, j'ai cru. Mais maintenant je sais que elle est gere bien, les gens en haut de la pyramide de pouvoir ont des mauvaise intentions. Alors, je m'amuse bien, j'apprendre des chose, et je serait pret pour le future - je suis en train de'apprendre plus sur les legumes, les remedies allternatifs, les maisons construit de la foin, je voi aussi un veritable EXPLOSION en projets contre la dependant sur ce systeme. I would like to say one thing in regards to a continual comment/question I am getting, and that is : "What do we do now?" Step One: REALIZE FEAR IS AN ILLUSION which is a tool perpetuated by religion and the political system to keep societies under control. Don't worry about "the government watching you" or any of the general bullying tactics used to keep people from rising up. Ask questions, get in the way, and don't back down in your march to know the truth about EVERYTHING. The pursuit of true and the processes of understanding/realization is the only true religion. As an aside, if you are not familiar with Ed & Elaine Brown who are currently in a stand off with the authorities due to the Income tax fraud, you should be. They have asked for one thing "Show us the law that says we have to pay the income tax on our wages, and we will pay". The government can't show the law because there isn't one. I strongly suggest everyone support the Browns. They are setting a precedent that needs to be seen and heard nation wide. *** Step Two: EDUCATE YOURSELF The mainstream media is the 4th branch of the US Government and they are going to tow the political line. Granted, they can't control everyone in their structure, but the major headlines/features you see in the major newspapers and on networks have been filtered by agents of the corporate/political elite. All major news agencies have top brass belonging to the Council on Foreign Relations. If you are not familiar with the history and agenda of the socialist power house known as the Council on Foreign Relations, I suggest a book called " The Shadows of Power" by James Perloff. This group is the hidden arm behind American Foreign policy and they seek nothing less than the total destruction of the American Republic and the creation of a socialist system / world government. *** Step Three: EDUCATE OTHERS Create a website/ myspace/ have email lists/call into radio shows, etc. Don't be afraid to engage people, old and young in this points. Talk to your family. Get some of the many DVDs out there on the subjects and copy them and pass them out. I, for one, will be at Ground Zero on Sept 11th with the NY 911 Truth Movement to help educate the public and 'get in the way' of the media coverage who has almost totally ignored the work of the movement. *** Final Point: The 2 dominant motto's used in the game by those who wish to manipulate and control is 1) Divide and Conquer 2) Order out of Chaos -Divide and Conquer- They try to get people at odds with each other in order to keep people distracted and to prevent unity. There are only degrees of operating "with the current of nature" or "against the current of nature" and when you understand that the 'collective consciousness' is no different in structure than your 'personal consciousness' in that the whole of the species undergoes social 'conflicts of interest', just as an individual battles personal 'conflicts of interests'(pertaining to arrogance/ stubbornness/ poor temperaments, etc) you can understand that the battle against the Elite is a macrocosm of your own PERSONAL internal battle dealing with your own misguided feelings of superiority, arrogance and the like. Therefor, change in many ways starts with increased self-awareness and thus the removal of the ego based elitism that we all at one time or another share. No one is better then anyone else. Period. We are all the same. We are also One. - Order out of Chaos- This is simple. They create problems, instill unrest, then push forward their agenda disguised as a change in the best interest of the public. 911; Katrina; the War on Drugs:; Global Warming; Terrorism in general, Iraqi insurgents, Immigration, Inflation... are all used to whatever advantage they can muster up. The more real or fabricated problems that arise, the faster the elite can reposition power. [I.E. After WW1, we had the "League of Nations" . After WWII, we had the United Nations; After WWIII, we will likely have a full on One World Government.] In my opinion, the criminal elements behind the US/UK administration want nothing less than World War, as it will be the ultimate "shake up" of things to get their agenda into full swing.
